AHS DIRECT SCHOOL ADMISSION (DSA) – SECONDARY EXERCISE 2008

AHS also hosts the East Zone Centre of Excellence for Sports, which works closely with National Sports Associations in nurturing sporting talents.

ADMISSION CRITERIA
a) We are looking for Primary Six pupils who are talented and skilful in the following sports: Basketball, Table-Tennis, Badminton, Wushu, Netball and Softball to join us on our journey in pursuing sporting and academic excellence.
b) As AHS is a SAP school, invitation is extended to only Primary Six pupils taking Chinese language (as First or Second language).

SELECTION DATE / VENUE
A briefing followed by selection tests will be scheduled on Saturday, 12 July 2008 from 8.00 am at the AHS Main Hall. Interested pupils must register at 8.00 am at the Main Hall.

Pupils are advised to:
be in sports attire.
bring along personal sports equipment, if preferred.
3. bring along writing materials (pen and pencil).

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Application forms will be distributed to only those short-listed after the selection tests on 12 July 2008.

SELECTION RESULTS
AHS will release the selection results by post by Saturday, 23 August 2008.
